RXO Snaps Up UPS Unit for $1 Billion, Stock Soars!
RXO is acquiring Coyote Logistics, UPS's freight brokerage unit, for $1.025 billion. This forms the 3rd largest broker in North America and is expected to significantly boost RXO's earnings. Both companies' CEOs see growth opportunities: RXO's customer base with million-dollar deals jumps 80%, while UPS can focus more on its core business. The deal is expected to close by year-end, sending RXO's stock soaring over 15%.
